Any winter tyre/wheel offer about?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

All this talk of winter tyres has got me thinking I probably ought to invest in a set.  Do you know if anyone is doing any wheel/tyre offers this year?  (I think the factory was behind a £1200 offer for a set last winter).

The price of set of wheels at retail plus tyres is eye watering...

Thanks

Peter.

Murrays have an advertised deal but I might be able to get you a cheap set of classic wheels if you're interested?

Could be tempted at some point too if I could store them somewhere sensible!

My dealer in Germany has them, pretty sure he will ship. €2,899 for the OEM classic rims plus Yoko W Drive. You will get other (better) tires such as the Michelin PA3 in original (summer) sizes for the same money. Check out www.moto-concept.de, rims are displayed on the start page but price includes tires.

Ah, and £1,200 sounds to be good to be true, the tires alone are c. £900-1,000. If you get them for that price, dont ask, order!

I was hoping I'd get the 4 wheels for under a grand iirc, watch this space!

I keep the wheels all season and just have the tires changed. Not really an issue as the Evora needs new rear tires every year anyway.

Not really an option for those with the Diamond Cut rims. There are only very few tires around for the 19/20 inch rims and they get into silly money sphere.

I'm interested Bibs - when do you think you'll have some firm details?
