Occasionally Lotus have a clearout of parts for historic cars and TLF members have been lucky enough to save hundreds of thousands of pounds this way. 2012 will end with another Parts Sale being offered by Lotus ASO and we're again making the list available to our members and visitors. In order to buy any of the parts, please download the parts list from our forums here and contact your local dealer for pricing and availability.

From Lotus

Please find enclosed the latest Lotus Aftersales parts sale list which has recently been released to the Lotus Dealer network. Please note the new list replaces any previously released sales list and any customer inquiries/orders need to be placed directly through the Lotus dealer network. Your local or preferred Lotus dealer will be pleased to quote prices and availability.’

I had this discussion with Lotus, they've done it on purpose. Dealers are welcome to post out the price list they have and I'd not be surprised it someone posted it in this thread before long anyway :)

so how have we to see it -this is just the list of parts available with 'regular stock' pricing ?

..dealer prices are here:

http://www.deroure.com/diagrams.asp?MAK=1&SMA=0&SMO=0&ST=&SC=0

--and now: '' ..what is the 'sale out' price in comparision ''   ..or do we have to ask for every position ??

The previous sales prices were very good.  The guys at Bell & Colvill were surprised how good of a price we were getting from Lotus.  I wouldn't be surprised if they are still great prices.

..but would you not like to see the price first -just for interest (and for comparision on e-bay/www   *on the 'not Lotus only' parts there, like various joints, pumps, valves etc. )  ??

Like the post says Gunter, contact your local dealer for the price list.

The problem is that the thieving dealers here in Australia will multiply the price many times over in their quotes.

In 2010 I bought $12,000 (7,000 pounds)  worth of parts from Lotus UK. VIC Lotus dealer (Zagame) quoted me $53,000 (35,000 pounds) for the exact same parts!

Once, WA Lotus dealer quoted me $1,040 (600 pounds) for the front pads on the S4s.

So contacting the local dealer is certainly not an option.

Email/call a dealer in the UK, they'll happily sell and ship you the parts.

So we don't need to use the local dealer? That's good to know, thanks.

You can use any dealer you like. The original post says local or preferred dealer, they rarely care where you live! :)

Also, just to clarify, I'm afraid that I'm not permitted to help anyone get parts this year. Lotus's rules, not mine. You have to go to your local/preferred dealer.

and as dealer (or more exactly one 'near' to Berlin ) told me -he isn't in the aftersales anymore ...so we will see how it turns out this year with the ASO-parts sale turnaround on money for the Lotus company.

It all sounds a little like a sinking ship ..does it ?

As I have used two of the sales and missed some earlier and  one inbetweenn over the years ..so there was more than 3 -right!?

..and yes, it is less money -as the actual stock price is often way over what it is worth if you compare the origin  (even Lotus does not all for its own I say)

..but I would still support Lotus and help to sale out small things, who are also already available somewhere else in the www -as long as the Lotus-price is competitive .. less money is still more than  'no money'  !  see what I mean.

Don't get me wrong ..I really like the ASO-parts sale outs ..as you know  -what me wounders is that there is no usefull list of 'xx pieces in stock' .. and 'reduced price' attached this time

Gunter, that is the SALE stock price list... I have no idea whether dealers have updated their online stock lists, as I don't use them. :)

It's getting there......
