Spy Who Loved Me Esprit promo photographs

Recommended Posts

Found some pictures from an old Lotus agents from when the Bond Esprit must have done a nationwide tour. Some other really good photos and information on there too, the garage was Derelliott in Merseyside, anyone remember it?

I love the 2 young lads in these 2 completely seperate photos who can't take their eyes off the lady. Caption competition?

Wish I had visited more showrooms back in the day, we only had one flash car sales place, Reg Vardy's near Sunderland. In the meantime it's nice to see some old photos dusted off. There was a thread about old Lotus garages once but I can't find it now.

Those first two pics are just hilarious!

Wonder what those two are up to now.

Is is too long ago for them to be Ant and Dec?...

Good god, that shirt collar on the guy in the JPS is large enough to take off in a strong breeze!

I thought it was Emerson Fittipaldi for minute!

The bikini was made out of platinum or something and worth a fortune. Good excuse to make it really skimpy?

There are other great pictures on the site when the garage was also an agent for makes such as TVR, Maserati and De Tomaso, plus some high res older Lotus brochures to download. Worth a poke about.

Nice find Mark!  That top pick is top stuff!

I think Lotus need to adobt this kind of marketing for the Evora.  Then hopefully I'll finally see one.
