Probably as above but ring Lotus and double check before you take it off. Lotus had SO many special editions and prototypes, it's hard to keep up with what was rear or fake.

I do recall seeing your car on Autotrader or one like it. Also Barry Ely had one in that he bought in Azure Blue with black wheels. This was advertised by it's previous owner on Autotrader as a special edition?

Maybe it was to celebrate that they managed to not change owners that year LOL! Only joking, we don't need hardcore Lotus lovers to come down hard on me.

PMSL! :) Yeah, it is the same car. It was picked up by another dealer who had the black wheels, spoiler, vents and front splitter sprayed to blue. He kept it for a while and then sold it on.

I keep expecting someone to say something like 'hey, that used to be my car. I can't believe they managed to repair it after the crash' LOL.

I'll try to get a contact number and ring Lotus. I wouldn't mind knowing if they have any extra info on the car. Maybe if the engine had been rebuilt etc.

Cheers guys,

John
