Dave fantastic work and a fascinating write up - even I could understand it.

I notice you talk about post turbo system and how it works best with a de cat exhaust. The only problem I see with all this is that waiting in the wings is this MOT requirement that cars must match original manufacturers specifications and that presumably even if a decat arrangement can currently pass emission tests the absence of a cat will in itself result in MOT failure.

Mike this is a Brussels thing and mainly hot air at the moment. There is always ways

round these sort of things. There is a thread on this somewhere explaining..

But there is no problem with fitting a manifold...

Hi, What size/kind of turbo are you using?

From the picture it looks like a Garrett, do you have diameters of the compressor and turbine wheel?

What Turbo are you using, from the picture it looked like a Ford RS500 Cosworth one.

Or is it a custom made one off?

Garp & Pete..  you will find the details in the 412 thread in Esprit chat.. i will be updating

the thread soon and will cover those points for you..

Hi all.... I have had a few pm's asking if this is the best deal that can be done..

So i spoke in depth with Leon at Alunox to make sure. The answer is yes this is

the best it can be. On the group buy at £850.00 for the kit all inclusive, there is very

little in it for Alunox, He did reduce the group buy quantity to 10 instead of 20 to make

it more attractive to get the numbers but that is it.

I feel this a very good deal when you consider a standard factory cast unit from Lotus is £1006

and on back order for who knows how long. Alunox will be available virtually ex-stock.

Also don't forget this is a 321 stainless construction manufactured by a company that

does development work for specialist manufacturers and the motorsport fraternity.

As we now know its been performance inspected and tested by by Dave (Changes)

with staggering results, Plus i have run the prototype on several track days without

incident.

On top of this you will receive a two year guarantee.Gaskets, Stainless nuts and studs are included in the kit

They can be shipped anywhere in the world. Here are some shipping costs, if you

need to know you area please ask.

Idaho £58

Colorado £50

Florida £58

Sweden £40

Isle of Man £24

Jersey £24

Australia £85 (TNT)

We are starting to get some interest now but this group buy offer can not be indefinite

and is unlikely to be ever repeated, so if you are interested add your name to the list.

Hi Jason , £850 is the price plus the shipping cost , I'll get a cost for Philadelphia and add to the list.

A couple months back, on another forum, I tried to get on a group buy for this same manifold, but the effort failed.

So I'll try again.

Put me down for ONE.

A friend in Thailand wants up to THREE to distribute around to his friends. ;)

Please E-mail me so I can give you his particulars.

So there is four more for you.

Thanks,

Brian

Come on chaps, only 2 more, then I can get my order in.  At £850 I cant believe someone has asked for more discount, this seems an absolute bargain, as Mark says the Lotus one is over a thousand if you can get one and is fugly as ukk.  I have seen and heard Changes manifold and I am convinced this is the way to go on manifolds from now on.

I would say yes to a  n/a version but dont have a movable  car to take over to get it fabricated.  Any one else with a n/a nows the time to say so.

Im getting so miffed with the whole manifold situation ive purchased a 2nd hand cast one on ebay just to enable me to get the engine started.

Neill1607, is your exhaust manifold the two piece version? If so, do you know if the turbo sits in the same place as the later one piece manifold?

I think the early 88 cars such as mine have a two piece part, Can the newer one piece versions be fitted?

The answer is yes.. you should have no issue as long as there is not a remote waste gate fitted..

A perfect upgrade..

Dan, you need to order / invoice / and ship in 2 pieces, the manifold and the collector, making sure that each component is less than A$1000. Then you have to pay neither VAT or GST. oh and it's perfectly legal.

So would they cost me GBP670 plus post for the two parcels?

Yes, it would be helpful if someone could post the pricing without VAT for the US guys and others who are interested and not subject to VAT.
