Number Plate lamp fuse location...head in footwell time again >

Recommended Posts

Having difficulty trying to locate the fuse for the rear number plate lamps.

Front fuse box and relays (under hood/bonnet) all okay but hand book talks about fuses/relays under the drivers side facia........cant find the sods

Is this one of those up side down with head in the footwell jobs again ?

Any pointers ?

Replaced both festoon bulbs, cleaned up contacts and no electrical feed .......nothing - all other electrical systems appear to be working okay so possibly the rear number plate lights are fused seperately ?

The LH and RH number plate lamps are fed from separate fuses that also serve the same side tail lights (amongst other things) so if the tail lights work OK the problem is not the fuses.

Thanks for the response Derek

Seems as though its time for hand stands in the boot area to check out the loom that feeds the number plate lamps ........strange that both are not working if fed from seperate fuses and the rear tail lamps on both sides are okay

Cheers

Paul

Any chance someone has been mickey mousing with it, e.g. a badly done rear light conversion
