eprsplit 0
I have a Esprit S1 tool kit complete with tool roll. All items are accounted for and in excellent unused condition. I need a correct tool kit for my 1979 S2 and I would like to trade with someone. I am also looking for the correct jack, jack handle, and wheel brace. Does anyone have a source or possibly a few spare white plastic clips to hold the jack handle to the recess in the engine cover? Two out of three of mine are broken. Any help would be appreciated. Tony K 128
I don't know if John will see this, Chris. He sold his S2 a few years ago. - T Quote Tony K. Esprit S1s #355H & 454H Esprit S2.2 #324J 1991 Esprit SE
7veloce 0
Does any S1 owners has an extra tool set and roll? and jack handle? I would be interested to buy them. Tom
Guest surferphil
I bought some bits from Lotusbits in England, I think some items were shared with the Eclat. The jack is the same as most Lotus cars, exactly the same as the M100 but with a angled plate fitted. Would be good if someone had a photo of an original kit just to be sure. 7veloce 0
Phil, I found two photos of the S1 tool kit and jack for your info: http://www.lotusespritrestoration.com/2012/01/restoring-original-s1-lotus-esprit-jack.html Tom I bought some bits from Lotusbits in England, I think some items were shared with the Eclat. Guest surferphil
Wow looks fantastic! You did a great job, I found the jack to be useful when lifting up the back of the car to get to the ailing fuel pump. The L plate stopped the car sliding off. Thank you! simonb 12
Could really do with a tool roll for my S2.2 if anyone has such a thing
Buddsy 1,643
Are those Williams "Super Slim" Spanners? I got loads of them. Nice spanners used to see them all the time on car boot sales. Buddsy Quote "Belief is the enemy of knowing" - Crrow777
7veloce 0
Phil, These photos are from Renn Ortenburger's website for your reference. They are not photos of my S1 tools. I wish... 7veloce 0
I am looking for the long handle for the Lotus scissor jack. Please contact me if you have a spare one for sale.
Guest surferphil
Might be worth looking at an original Eclat tool kit to see what's the same.
