Kimbers 1,766
I always moan about the way kids speak these days and we have mentioned it in other topics here on TLF. So here's a Grammar test to see if you can speak proper like what I do!! You have 6/10 to beat after I thought I was better than I actually was, give it a try. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22512744 Quote Possibly save your life. andydclements 749
I was a little happy to fail to get 10/10 but I was eating lunch and not really paying attention. Poor Grammar is a pet hate of mine because it can change the whole meaning of a statement.

andydclements 749
9 out of 10. I missed the one about the siblings. Not bad for a rogue colonial! I lost that one also because I wasn't sure what was meant, the first person, the siblings of that first person and his father, or, the first person the father of the first person and the siblings of the father. It just goes to show how a meaning is lost with incorrect grammar or incorrect punctuation. I quit at #4 of 10 with only 1 on the board. I always hated English. Maths, physics etc. That was me. The language or the people?
