Upgrade today to remove Google ads and support TLF.

The steering wheel fittings match Sprite/Midget and early Range Rover, so that could be a clue, but I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of it had not been modified in some way. Is there a specific part you are after PM? I think all parts are available.

ford capri also or not? i also heard something about that.. do anybody know more from this?

only the steering rack is from the ford capri.

Both power and non-power steering?

manual rack is from a triumph herald.

 

power rack is a modified ford unit.

I think the top bearing is the same as a Chevrolet Corvet from the same period (GM part)

With my bearing I found that it was seized and then spinning in the column housing, so I cleaned and reasembled the bearing and then araldited the outer bearing case to the column, problem solved!

Rack is off a Ford Granada, of the correct period of course ;-)
