My Cool Classic...

Recommended Posts

I dont know if anyone has seen these series of books called "My Cool Classic...."

There is one on cars, one on cycles, one on campervans and one even on caravans!

I bought the car one as I really like the photography. I find a lot of automotive stuff a bit tired. The parking of the car in front of a stately home has well and truely been done to death in my eyes. I like this book more so the pictures of the cars rather than the cars themselves.

It is a quirky book with quirky cars and people. That got me thinking....we are a bunch of quirky nerds here we should try to get them to do a book on us. How British would that be! Most of us with cars mainly in bits tucked up being rebuilt in our garages! What do you think are we all odd enough to make "My Cool Classic Lotus"?

No but that's a brilliant idea! A book on cars that are in states of being rebuilt by amateur enthusiasts.

That's much more interesting than the 'greatest 100 cars' type crap. Real people real character real cars.....

If it stops raining I'll go outside and carry on rebuilding my collection of Lotus' tucked up behind the garage (which is mainly too full of bits to fit in any cars). :-)
