how to remove a oil suction tube from a 907 engine

Recommended Posts

does anybody know here how to remove the oil suction tube (with the filter on the end)

from a 907 engine,

i have allready bolt-off the ignition + oil thing, (under the carbs.) on the engine,

and after that there is a big bolt before the tube start, i also remove that one,

but now i need to get the hole oil suction tube out...

or must i release the hole section that holds the crankshaft?????

Thanks allready!

The suction pipe is held by the big hollow hex fitting on the top, and a bracket to one of the main bearing nuts below. Once you have removed the big socket headed hex fitting and the main bearing nut that holds the bracket, the pipe can be removed from below. There is an olive underneath the big socket headed hex fitting, and this may have tightened on the pipe and be stopping it from pulling out....try wobbling it about, pulling and rotating until you get it free!!
