Lovely video of the Europa! I'm impressed he even does his own sewing work! I thought only @GTK would do that sort of stuff. 🙂

Makes me want to search a bit for the guy's race Europa.

Clint Eastwood had a dark coloured one, amongst other Ferraris, and used to park it in the background of scenes in movies. Intentionally.

Can’t think of any movie names now but remember a scene where he’s getting on a Greyhound bus and the BB is in the background.

Good movie.  BB's were never officially sold in the States as they didn't meet the federal emissions and Ferrari didn't want to ruin there beautiful design with 5mph impact bumpers (1973 legislation).

Clint imported one in but had to fit specially made bumpers.

 

5mph impact bumpers were intended to save the consumer expensive bodywork repairs.  In the 80s the States reverted back to the international standard of 2 mph impact bumpers.

Love the BB and the 365 GT4 before - I wrote to Maranello Concessionaires in the late 70s as a spotty kid and they sent me a fabulous poster of one. Must dig it out as I'm sure its back home somewhere in my Mum's loft. Defo one on my Lotto list -  Ohhh and I do like a non-Red Fezza as well.....
