Mine is exactly the same!

SOME rattles (from the tongues) at the front can be reduced by very careful application of a small amount of silicon sealant to act as a rubber buffer :D

Most of my rattles and noise are coming from the latches however

The "Pins" that we pull in and out seem to play a part - if I pull them out just a millimeter or two, then sometimes that can reduce the noise a lot.

All I can think of is dismantling both assemblies and completely rebuilding them, prehaps (again) using very thin layers of silicon sealant here and there to reduce that amount of contact between hard surfaces?

Knowing how irreplacable the sunroof is, I haven't as yet had the balls to do any of this however!

I haven't completely sussed how to remove the latches from the glass and again, fear drilling! (Me, Drills and Glass don't go together well!)

Robin, why would you want to drill more holes in your glass roof?

I think I am lucky, as I don't have any problems with noise coming from the roof...

BTW, what is a safe speed with the roof tilted???

Drill holes?

No - I meant that I think you have to drill rivets out to remove it all?

Daz, have you replaced the seal yet?

Hi Chris

No not had chance to collect from Miles of Fiberglass Services Nr Chichester. Work commitments make it difficult to collect in week & he's not always there on a sat.
