separating disc from hub

any suggestions , how to get the disc off the hub,how hard can i hit it,all the bolts are out ,and ive covered it with ease it fluid,but it just will not shift

Did mine a couple of week ago nigel and it took some very serious smacking to get the disc of the hub. We used a nylon/plastic headed hammer too. Just lock it in the vice as best you can and smack round it obviously.

thanks carl, eventually got it off, (lump hammer and a piece of 3"x2"), new suspension next on the list of jobs.

Ah the trusty 3x2. The answer to many a problem.

Just playing with my new front suspension at present to try and get the ride right. Road holding is truely awesome , little ruts in the road are a hell !

But im itching to get the rear done, just waiting for the next lump of cash.
