Stirling_Villeneuve
Looks great, they'd be daft not to offer a road version though, that'll breath a bit of life into the Elise. The Pits
mmm not too convinced about the aero parts they look like style over substance to me but if they work, they work. Of more interest to me are the forged wheels. chances are they will be available on the Exiges. They don't look bad, just a bit like any other motorsport wheel but if they are much lighter than standard I'd be happy to try a set. Kimbers
No way! That looks so awesome I'd have to have one if I could drive it on the road! I love all that extra gear and don't give a hoot about carpeting and crap like that I don't want anyway! Road version, come on Lotus! Quote Possibly save your life. Stirling_Villeneuve
Amazingly not gonna happen, I just asked. No road version? That's crazy... but perhaps it's tad too similar to the Exige Cup at £20k less. Kimbers
Maybe it's cheaper because it doesn't need some of the stuff that needs to be on road cars to homologate them? But initially, like Sterling, I thought WOW that's cheap! I was thinking at that money I'd get one. Quote Possibly save your life. Bibs
I was told that its an Elise S with a cage, single seat and extinguisher, no extra power etc so too compromised but not different enough for a road car. I'm sure we'll see that aero appearing on some road cars though so you could have the cup R benefits without the inconvenience. Arnaud Graebert
Please Lotus get your act together and produce a Lotus Elise S Cup and Evora S Cup (keeping the rear seats) that we can use on the road. We love your cars but God you make it hard for us to buy them
dazzx10r
Any chance of them marketing the bodykit as a factory supplied option? That way we could be driving around in Cup-r road replica's
