Thanks again bibs & Laura. An excellent evening once again. Yes we were early leavers but approaching 68 years old I think i have a reasonable excuse. it is great to meet all the lotus enthusiasts and just talk cars.

 

Ann & I will be driving down through France to the Monaco historic next May, so if anyone is of the same mind may be we could meet up and have a few beers or food etc. please get in touch.

 

Last year we done the track day at Le Mans courtesy of Club Lotus. You get a full 3 laps of the 24 hour circuit so its well worth the money and where else can you hit speeds in excess of 150 mph in what would be normally a 30 limit. 

Enjoy your Lotus while you can

Back home again after a great weekend.  All round great weekend and so glad Andrew & I made the effort to come down.  Great to be putting faces to names and whatever and meet up with everybody.  After 4 and a bit years of reading posts just fantastic to be able to do that.  

 

Sorry to anybody I didn't get to talk to, or not talk to some folks for long.  I must be the only Lotus owner there who didn't have a clue who Brian Angus was so a bit embarrassing to have stood talking to him and his wife for 15 minutes while waiting for the taxi we were sharing and asking him what took him to Norfolk all those years ago!  At least he had the decency to just say work! :secret:  Oh the embarrassment ! :respect:  Great company though & thanks to Bibs and Laura for the extra hospitality today as much better than sitting around Gatwick airport.

 

Andrew and I will look at our programme to see if we can arrange a Jock Jaunt for you all later in 2014.
