Extreme "drift day" at Ahvenisto

Got really exhausted on last weekend. We were at Ahvenisto on saturday and when we were leaving there was a note on the car: come to prize-giving

Weather was excellent +24celsius and sun was shining, what a day Last chances to enjoy the trackday.

There was also a nice Ferrari which got prize too. Owner lives also here and he bought the car about the same time as I, and year-model was -84. Owner was actually on his way to supermarket when he just visit Ahvenisto for a cup of coffee.

Top5 got trophy, there were't any winners, the two volkswagens got german-look trophy.

Looks like you had a great day out there Jussi, and congratulations on winning a trophy! I can't believe the judges didn't spot that the steering wheel had been put back on the wrong side though

OK, so I admit I followed the link out of curiosity but this photo (nipple warning!) made me chuckle - looks like the guy in the white T-shirt taking pictures with his phone was, erm, appreciative of the young ladies at teh carwash

Not a drift fan but this was the first time I actually watched more that race (and took photos). Have to say there was couple of drivers/cars which were very good

So don't burn me yet at the cross

if you have seen "the monkey" from japan he is unreal, the japs cant even be touched in drfting, and as tiff needell found out there is a difference between drifting and a power slide. he is a good driver but only managed to drift once in a compettion all day and then killed the car lol. its a artform that ppl dont understand.

throw a lsd in the esprit jussi, and set the angles on the wheels and your away, there would love you LOL,,,and so would yourbank manager LMAO

there is a excel drift car with the roof chopped off,,,,think its a excel
