S3 Steering Rack

The rack on my S3 is u/s. Too much play as the steering is rocked. The aluminium casing has worn away (ovalled) allowing the rack its-self to move forwards.

Question. SJ have them for

I had a load of hassle with this one. I ordered 2 recon racks from two different suppliers and both were wrong. They looked like they were from an Excel but not positive. So in the end I bought a nice new shiny one from SJ. I bought a new 1/2 inch UJ from a local store and changed them at the same time.

Both recon racks were from large companies, go figure. Although if you read the manual it does say that the rack is a non servicable item
