Must try that Got the movie on DVD, has more cheese than sainsburys but LOVE the sound track - sounds great on the HUGE sound system I have in the front room (shakes the house) Listening to Radio 2 a lot they play a really wide veriety of stuff so I am a little aware of some of the stuff ppl have posted here, quite a few are in the collection as well which my 2nd cousin delights in telling me I have no taste when he sifts through them So confiming I still have a modicum of taste left ! Jonathan
A mere 28 (29 in November) The next topic is name your top 100 and only have TWO songs from any artist - friends done this a while back and it's a REALLY tough choice when you get to greats like REM / Queen / U2 and have to pick just 2 songs Perhaps 2 is too tough on them but makes you really think, interesting, I think music tells a lot about someone's tastes plus I really like hearing about what music does for people and why they like it - show called 'tracks of my years' on radio2 which is really cool when celebs pick a couple of songs a day and say why. I also missed of Grease the musical - love doing that Karaoke Suprised no one has said Nevermind by Nirvana either...always come up on top albums. Tony K: 50 Whoa. 50! . . . err, um, you're a little off! Here's an album I'm eagerly anticipating that I can listen to from start to finish and savor every song -- this should help with guessing a little closer to my age: By the way -- what, no Jamiroquai fans on here? Their music just sounds sooooo good in the S1. I'm curious to know what others on here think of them, especially given the popularity of classic rock on this forum. I grew up with classic rock (know every word to every song and can play half of them on the guitar) and got over it years ago; my interest has turned toward funk, soul, blues, and various forms of pseudo-jazz . . . V8 Owners Fem Slave
Whoa. By the way -- what, no Jamiroquai fans on here? I like them but there are tracks that i will skip over, my list was of albums i will listen to all the way through. There were plenty of other artists that i like but i will skip tracks.... as an aside...my daughter was complimented at school by her music teacher for naming all the bands from tracks he played...and he included Queen, Iron Maiden, some modern bands and some classical....lol she said it was my influence I prefer music to TV And as to the Jethro Tull, they are my favourite band and its my parents fault...lol brainwashed me from and early age..... they have a photo of me at 6months wearing headphones, listening to Jethro Tull...lol LOL well it kept me quiet... purza
