Door window seal/carrier replacement

My passenger side window swipe that runs along the bottom of the window and the length of the door has developed waves along it's length. The manual calls this part the door waist seal and carrier. It attaches to the door via 3 studs on the carrier. My question is, has anyone replaced this piece and if so, am I looking at removing the window to access it or maybe the entire door? Any help here would be great. Thanks.

Hi there, you have to take off the door card then you can access the nuts with your window up. I think once you've undone the nuts, wind your window down as it pushes against the carrier because the window is convex. With the window down you can remove this carrier (I think)!
