Larini exhaust and manifold for Exige V6

Recommended Posts

YvoTuk - It would be really helpful if vendors started to test their exhausts db levels. With so many restrictions on db at UK trackdays, I sense a lot of people just dont upgrade because of fear of buying a system they just cant use... However if exhaust manufacturers and retailers could provide some confidence in testing and listing out db levels then this would allow the buyer to make a more informed decision and purchase...

Here ya go, not as good as the exterior sound but still a lot of fun -

After running my LF1 for a few months I decided to get the Larini backbox fitted today whilst in for its first service, I really wanted the whole system fitted but was warned by Lotus Silverstone that

OK guys, I'll try and get a video up over the weekend

At the moment, we are offering two different rear silencers for the Evora and Exige V6. The Sports system and the Sports system with valve control.

The Sports system is the quieter version of the two and although that doesn't have a valve it is perfectly fine to be used on an Exige V6 if you prefer it to produce less noise but still want sporty sound.

We are working on a new system with valve control but this is a couple of months away.

Whats going to be different with the new system verse the "old" valve system?

Main thing is to create a larger difference in noise levels, we're going through several test stages right now.

Thing is, you can shut it up but as people are also using these with manually controlled valve controllers you need to be pretty sure the system doesn't get too restrictive as it might get too hot.

So it needs to remain kind of free flowing but needs to be quieter.. which is a challenge ;)
