I don't know that I'd hook up the part that cuts out the ignition to dump raw fuel out the pipe though. I suspect with the #5 chip I'm already dumping plenty of unburnt out the back.

Anybody else done this? I've been kind of obsessed with jet-like tailpipe fire since I saw the new Miami Vice with that 430 ripping along.

already bought the parts.. just waiting to get around to the install. You dont need to cut spark or dump extra fuel.. lotus already does that for you. All that pop-pop you hear on overrun will make a nice jet of flames just by adding spark 10-12" from the exhaust tips. I bought my kit on ebay which includes the control box, wiring, spark plugs and weld on bungs. I'm going to use the old ignition coils i pulled off the car last winter. I know for a fact my car already shoots flames but it would be nice to be able to do it consistently and come to think about it you will reduce NOx and CO emissions by burning off what got past your catalytic converter.

PS.. i too was inspired by the f430 in that movie.
