Gold FFM Popular Post TpupNomad Posted February 8 Gold FFM Popular Post Report Share Posted February 8 Some of you that are into Motorcycles are familiar with the Ace Cafe London. There's one in Orlando and they have bike or car shows 5 nights a week, every week. Took the Lotus to Euro Car Night and everyone lost their mind. Got a front row seat, they moved stuff to put it up front. Great crowd with lots of nice cars. Popular Post Jack Stone
As the years advance, the more the clean lines of Peter Stevens’ original X180 Esprit improve. Its looks encapsulate 80s styling the way Giugiaro’s original S1 does the 70s. So it’s incredibly sad to see that derelict, unloved X180 Turbo - a car that as I report in the latest Absolute Lotus retailed at around £30k when new in 1988. A similar white X180 Turbo was used by Lotus for early promotional material (this is the retouched version with original grey sills colour-matched to reflect later trim spec). Sigh... 6 2 Quote But remember one thing: don't lose your head to a woman that'll spend your bread: Lotus Turbo Esprit (89-11); Lotus Esprit GT3 (12-14): Lotus Evora S (14-17); Lotus Esprit V8 SE "UK Last 15" (18-...) exeterjeep
Posted by Swindon Borough council about a house in their area...Esprit needing some TLC. Last year, and after persistent efforts to contact the owner, our Empty Homes team was successful in working with the owner of this long-term empty property in Freshbrook to bring it back into good repair. Working with the owner, some of the vehicles were removed and the front garden was tidied up in order to make the outward appearance more acceptable. The Council did not pay for this work. The owner now intends to move back into the home.
LOTUSMAN33
This house has been posted on the RGV pages quite often, from memory the owner was serving time or so someone claimed. The derelict RGV250M was causing quite a stir with some thinking the esprit was a kit car which made me chuckle. No doubt someone was getting excited about the 406 on some other page 😁 The Esprit looks like a nice example although I can help thinking that ratchet strap would have done some damage with the weather and heat from the sun for so long. Hopefully it’ll get some attention soon as looks like a HC? 1 Quote Do or do not, there is no try!
Jack Stone
Late G-Turbo (so HC). Reg in June 87. SORN with no MOT details, and quick investigation suggests it’s been sitting outside that house for over a decade (assuming it is still there today). Having owned extremely pampered Esprits for over 30 years, I find it heartbreaking to see this in a suburb of Swindon! 1 Quote But remember one thing: don't lose your head to a woman that'll spend your bread: Lotus Turbo Esprit (89-11); Lotus Esprit GT3 (12-14): Lotus Evora S (14-17); Lotus Esprit V8 SE "UK Last 15" (18-...)
