910Esprit 577
Looks great Giz, but liked the yellow too. NB is that the Mobil pegasus logo? Seem to remember him gracing our petrol pumps many years ago.

Besides the Union Jack that’s the only ‘non standard’ item in the car. The yellow looked ok in photos only. In reality it was a poor paint job, a non-lotus color and with incorrect color coded bumpers. It was pretty awful close up. So in essence, I’m really happy with the new look. The general public reactions also confirms it. 1 Quote Ad initium
Mark Blanchard 1,680
Looks superb Gis and love the white letters on the Goodyears. More Turbo Esprit's should have them, as Colin intended. Clicky 1 Quote Mark www.lotusespritturbo.com

Popular Post exeterjeep 323
Back in 1989, Lotus cars and the local London dealers had a day at Brands Hatch. Apart from driving round the short circuit there were 3 other activities. Looks like the 3 esprits were set up to go out of the pits. The guy by the passenger door of the excel was Brian Atthews London lotus centre. There were some laps by Garry Marshall, who got all 4 tyres smoking in places.

910Esprit 577
I watched that. The cambelt looked scarily loose. Wonder if it still has 16 straight valves
Gold FFM tomcattom 285 Posted March 5 Gold FFM Report Share Posted March 5 I wonder how long it has been off the road. Certainly going to need a good going over before they think about starting it. I clocked it has the RC injectors in one of the shots, so its had some money spent on it at some point. Was it my eyes deceiving me or was the binnacle fascia made of plywood, or are all SE's like that? Quote Norfolk Mustard S4s #

Gold FFM Escape 848 Posted March 12 Gold FFM Report Share Posted March 12 Would be a good deal just for engine/gearbox and other spares. But a shame to let what seemed like a nice (and running!) car go to waste... 2 Quote I have made many mistakes in my life. Buying a multiple Lotus is not one of them. andydclements 814
Perhaps my memory is fading but I thought that the dots /markings (ex and in) on the pulleys are not in the same place on the two sides, so if you align the dots on the shaft side they are out of line on the bulkhead side. In that video they seem to align based on the shaft side. Perhaps I'm mis-remembering since it has been a few years since a belt on an Esprit (Excel is so much easier due to access). The dots are in the same place front to back but the IN and EX are not, so it depends on which cam it's going on. 1 Quote Margate Exotics.
