I have no idea who these guys are, are they famous ?  As the only famous thing i can spot in that picture is the Lotus esprit V8 :P

Would you dress like that if you weren't famous!

That's The Darkness and the image is their new album cover :)

I had better drive it a bit more carefully then Dave.

The price to drive your best man to his wedding has just gone up!

May need a change in plans as "someone" has let me down on the other car... no names publicly of course.  I need another local Esprit to come to the rescue...

Might be able to help. Red HC turbo? If you want a Stephens I know a few people.

Did want to drive mine to the wedding with your best man? I could follow in a taxi. Call me or email me. We don't want to use this thread.

That blue car at bell and colvill is stunning, that paint is gorgeous pictures don't do it justice.

Also, gotta love The Darkness, that's a great choice of car for the cover!

Looks lovely, none the worse for the mileage!

I'm wondering, what are the highest mileage Esprits out there? Mine has also passed 110k miles, and counting.

  • Thanks 1

I have made many mistakes in my life. Buying a multiple Lotus is not one of them.

Just coming upto 90k on mine - I've done more miles in it than it's done in the last 6 years or more

No, it's not sad. It's fine. One can read a lot from such numbers. For example when did the kid nr. 1 come? Nr. 2? the renovation of the house. The renovation of the Esprit, the near to happen divorce etc. ;)

I also keep track of how many miles, service etc. I do apprx. 2500 kilometers per year since I bought it.Started at 108000 km. Now 4 years later: 118000 km.

Kind regards,

Jacques.

Nobody does it better - than Lotus ;)
