Hi Chris, yep the Excel has the cloth interior in Champaigne/Gold kind of colour, it's like a cord material and still in pretty good nick, not all worn as a lot I have seen.

The Manor House Hotel in Castle Combe. The four of us, plus better halves, have been going to Castle Combe each year for 20 years but this was the first time we'd stayed at the Manor.

Went out for a bit of blast this morning.

Just my kind of interior.

Looks fantastic. I might be interested a bit later in the year.

That's a great picture.

I remember seeing one of these cars at Castle Coombe in the early 1990s.

Chris, Mike,

Maybe the roadster was this one.

Only thing changed meanwhile is the interior is now black.

She is the only TurboEsprit in the series.

But most of the other five ones were also there over the years.

Three of them at a very rainy meeting.

I wonder where the other convertibles are around nowadays?

Got no reply on the roadster-homepage from other St Tropez owner.

Nice... really like the gold wheels.... ad the leopard print slippers.... big

I'm a closet gold wheels fan too (as long as they are not on a Subaru paired with blue paint). Leopard print I save for my undies.

I wish I could find my video of this day Rolf. As well as that still, I know I still have the VHS video somewhere. Hope you are well.

Ian

Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk - that will teach us to keep mouth shut!

In case you find it, I still have this old tecnology available in my home for viewing VHS :D

Everything is fine. The St Tropez got meanwhile the cheaper tax as it is now 30 years old and two Elise buddys as company in the garage.

Hope you are well too!

I need to take some more/better pics and upload to Photobucket, so this is it of mine at the moment:

Hopefully that worked......

Lovely car Michael, exactly the same as my first Esprit.

So nice to see a Turbo SE that still looks the way it did when it left the factory.

Brings back many happy memories.
