Bit tired at the moment. After a brilliant weekend , and big thank you to all . This was the time that Me , the misses and the esprit where finally delivered home, by a very friendly low loader and driver.

Why. well stopped at a friends house just over the Norfolk / suffolk boarder to say hi. Got back in the car later to find that the Thottle cable had snapped

So numberous phone calls to the insurance rescue service and 2 low loaders later, sent the wrong truck 1st time. We where ferried home.

The car went like a dream all weekend so it was a shame to be beaten by a broken cable

Unlucky, Cliff! Sorry to hear that - it must have been really annoying. I know how tired everyone was with fairly normal trips back, so getting back at that time must have been a real PITA!

At least it's nothing too serious.

Typical - I just start a thread about reliability, and now I hear about your car

Hope she's back on the road quickly.
