Where to store the Targa roof whilst driving the Riviera?

The Audi Coupe of that time has a storage room in the boot where you can put the targa roof in. The boot of the Éclat seems to have none of this.... Was there any storage bag or something like that? The owners manual doesn't mention anything.

I've heard there was a storage bag, nothing special just like the Esprit, a big piece of vinyl folded over and stitched with a velcro closer.

 

Never tried it in the Elite boot.

Yes, it will fit in the boot, but both sides will scratch over the floor and on the very next right hand corner the roof will reach the fuel lines.... Not the best imagination being on the hunt...

@LC: sounds reasonable. But I haven't found any part number of it... Mysterious...

So, I will have look for a Elise Hardtop bag whether it will fit

Is it like Lotus of the era to think of the practicalities. Great at the engineering perhaps, but a flawed execution. I have owned a scimitar GTE and compare to the elite they are very similar concepts but the elite is so impractical in comparison - but now i'm hijacking the thread!
