New Evora Owner

My first Evora is now in my posession.  Its a 2010 na in Storm Titanium with all 3 packs, barge boards and a custom (loud) exhaust.

It is to be my daily driver.

All the recalls have been done, it has the later gear cables and a new clutch.

I have had it for a week and have done 400 miles!  I have sussed the issue with the bluetooth when the headunit fails to proiperly connect and am sort of getting used to the satnav.

The car replaces an Audi A6 Quattro so is very different, but I have owned a TVR Tuscan, and Ginetta G33 so I am used to plastic cars :)  I also have a Renault Alpine GTA Turbo in the garage.

As a matter of interest, does anyone know my car, it was on a private plate, but has been given VX10 GWF.

Cheers

Nick

Congrats on your Evora, looks great!

Glad to hear your going to use it everyday. It's a treat, something I look forward to and life's too short to drive something ordinary ehh??!!

Hope you have the same experience I'm having, they are truly fantastic. 2010 NA with all the packs & recalls/warranty is a sweet spot, amazing amount of car/performance for the money!!!!!

Welcome and look forward to hearing about your experiences.

Cheers,

A ;-)

Congratulations and welcome. What plate was it on before - we may recognise it!

Sounds like the clutch was done by the previous owner rather than you? Do you know why it was done? Some people think it's a weak point and it's an expensive fix, so real info is always useful.

It has had 2 previous plates.  V8WJO and X5 CAB

Clutch was done last summer under warranty as were gear cables and headlights for peeling lacquer
