The Pits 4,410
The prize for me has to go to Barrie's Essex but generally can't remember seeing that many great plates on a Lotus. Just wondered what else anyone else has spotted out there.

Bazza 907 1,079
Thanks !!I've seen A10 TUS.I think it was on a smashed up Esprit being trailered off Castle Coombe quite a few years ago Edited March 3, 2014 by Bazza
Bibs 11,386
That's Pilko's plate! There's a pic a few years ago when he parked next to Howard's S4 with E5PRT so it read 'A LOTUS ESPRIT' on the 2 cars Quote 88 Esprit NA, 89 Esprit Turbo SE, Evora, Evora S, Evora IPS, Evora S IPS, Evora S IPS SR, Evora 400, Elise S1, Elise S1 111s, Evora GT410 Sport Evora NA For forum issues, please contact the Moderators. DaveyT 244
Back in the '90s, saw both L8 TUS and LOT 11S within 2 months of each other, each with strategically placed number plate bolts... first was on a Carlton, don't remember what t'other was on though

The Pits 4,410
The fudged spelling ones don't do much for me but I saw a really clever plate on a Lancia Integrale once. It was H20OHW. Thought nothing of it until I looked in my rear view mirror and read 'WHOOSH'! Class! Edited March 3, 2014 by The Pits 1
Dunc 412
There is an eclat in Humberside that has ECL4T.... which is a bummer as it stopped me getting that one issued from the DVLA. NB What does BIBTUS mean?

CaptainBigleux 38
unfortunately we can't choose at all in France... I have to get my new plates asap, but I won't be able to get something for the Esprit. Even If I am lucky there is nothing crazy fun for a lotus, as the french numbers system is AA-001-AA => AA-999-AA => AA-001-AB

ramjet 1,090
I had ESPR1T S4 when I had my car in Western Australia. Nelly 186
Slightly off topic but one memorable numberplate (on a Disco I think) was YE53 ABY. Spaced to say "YES BABY" Clever.
hedgerley 449
My first Esprit had an "ooohhh errrr missus" registration which caused wry amusement when I bought it.
