Hi  .i know there are two lotus garages not far from me.But is there any one local forum members.Who have the free scan .i live in Exeter.Car is a se esprit turbo.Need to check engine tempature.Thanks all Mike

You can buy what you need off e bay. Freescan is free. The instructions are downloadable from this site.

The computer lead and connector for the car are also available from e bay a us supplier but mine arrived in a week or so - reddevilriver is the site name. You cannot really manage without this software and it works easily. Now interpreting it all not so easy but there seems to be help at hand on this site and you can send logs of journeys you've made as the program will log what's happening and save to be diagnosed afterwards.
