GT3 stumble

I have recently purchased a GT3 and it has a stumble around 1000 rpm. I have been told that this is normal for a GT3. (It also holds a high rpm sometimes after it is hot.) Is this so and if it is can it be fixed say with a new chip?

This is a great site for information and it helped me decide on the GT3

Personal experience only; a chip won't do anything for the stumble. However now you mention it mine used to have that hot engine over rev thing, and has not done it for months. Have done nothing else specific to that problem so maybe a chip would help.

In the garage no-one can hear you scream

I think I see you sometimes near Badbury Rings in the morning? Always admired your car.

That's me Glyn! I don't drive it every day to work though. You obviously have a daily driver as well - what is your other car, and have you flashed me before?

As far as your car goes, How about we run a Freescan log off and see if it shows up anything? - Dermot checked my log not long back and says that my figures are perfect.
