The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

H,

Might be a good idea to specify which day of the month we're meeting on. Did we go for the 10th?

Also people, when bringing your Christmas present please make sure the hospital staff can recognise from the wrapping paper/gift tag, the gender and age of the intended recipient.

PS Don't forget your Santa hats

Graham.

Well my baby is now in Birmingham with my Dad for the forseeable future until I can find somewhere suitable to live and have her back after selling my house. Seems like a good chance to exercise my NMEG membership! I should be there, only thing that will stop me is if Glenn at Lotus Sport comes back with a "price I can't refuse" for a respray!

Regards

Mat

Hi Howard

Sounds great. I'd love to come along, although Market Drayton is a bit of a trudge from Ross. I certainly wouldn't fancy 110 miles before breakfast - which makes it an overnighter, and hence subject to the wifely approval process.

Are there any nice hotels nearby? Maybe I could dress it up as a pleasant weekend away, and-by-the-way-there's-a-Lotus-event-on-the-Sunday.

Do you think she'd be fooled...? :o

try looking for the Bear In Hodnet about 7 miles from Drayton, good car park and supposed to be a nice place to stay, also a few guest houses in Market Drayton just near the meet point

There's also that nice hotel just off the roundabout at Tern Hill. Been there for a course but can't remember its name I'm afraid.

Hi all, I have now had the following email from the Hospital we intend to visit with presents for the childrens ward. I asked them what sort of things would be of use.

Hi Howard

It's very kind of you to think of us, having discussed your kind offer with our team of play specialists they have come up with the following list:-

Board Games - connect four

Guess Who

Fishing game

etc

Teenagers - Toiletries

Air fix models

Small lego - small/medium boxes

All ages - Pencil cases/colouring books

Word search books

Dolls (all kinds from 3months - 10years)

Cars/lorries

Syllvanian families

As we are not sure what sort of budget you have if you wish to donate larger objects then

Small - Medium size garage/cars/mat

Baby cot mobiles

Interactive books

I look forward to hearing from you and do thank you once again for your kind offer

Jo
