Bibs
Gonna call today. Looks like the CEL is on with it running but I'd expect there to be a 'few' issues at that price. Whirlybird
I wonder what the funny looking lever is next to the key fob? Looks like a leather key fob you get from a dealer. Loose Cannon
Back tyres look the wrong size, look a bit skinny (remember Doors and his black GT3 had this issue yeeeeeaaars ago!) Otherwise could be a bargain. Sell the plate to "Ron" and use the money to fix it up Quote In the garage no-one can hear you scream
Bibs
I was out in Brighton on Friday with a pal and some of his employees. Talk got around to cars and my pal mentioned I owned TLF then one of the guys said his Dad use to own an Esprit, a blue one with decals on the doors. I asked jokingly if his Dad's name was Ron... ...it was! He was the first owner of this car! What are the chances! While you're here, another guy is good pals with Mike6's son, knows him and his cars! Small world.... mayevora
Looks in nice condition, even the alloys. Does anybody else think it look like it's riding slightly high? Bibs
Did you not read the thread? Gordon has gone to have a look for me since he's very local. The car wouldn't start so he's heading back again shortly when hopefully it will start. If it's all ok, I'll be making an offer on it. Bibs
I'm oot! It needs a C service, manifold, cat, code 26 fixing and has been quiet neglected in terms of cash spent over the last few years. You can't test drive it as the cambelt is so loose it might pop off the sprockets. Could do with the front end painting and has been reversed into something so needs a new rear spoiler too. I estimate £5k to get it into tip top condition and a tip top condition GT3 can be had for less than that. Bibs
It'd be less than that i think but the old adage of 'don't buy work' is stuck in my mind.
