rogerch 63
It's been 7 years, but it's time to move on. I've loved owning it, loved restoring it, loved everything I have done to it, there's nothing around here can stay with it, but when it's time, it's time. It won't sell overnight, and it won't be the last Lotus I have, but she's up for sale. Quote Life is like a sewer, what you get out of it, depends on what you put into it. Buddsy 1,622
Thats a shame Roger but when you've made up your mind all is left is to try to buy her back in a couple of years time! lol What are going moving on to? Choppa 214
As Buddsy say shame. So the big question, what happens to the wing, do you keep it as a souvenir, sell it fitted back to the car or hand it over in a bag of "spares" the next owner might find useful? Mark Blanchard 1,647
Hi Rog, sorry to hear you're selling. One of the last X180 fans. So what's it going to be? I hope something British and mean. Don't what ever you do get a 911, I'll lose all respect for you. Quote Mark www.lotusespritturbo.com
mayevora 1,187
Tough decision to make but if the minds made up. I have not seen either of mine again from the day they left me - which is actually the way I'd prefer it. What are your thoughts - would it be a good or bad thing if bought by somebody living close to you where you would get the passing reminder, or would you prefer the far coast? Good luck with the sale. Quote Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk - that will teach us to keep mouth shut!
rogerch 63
No rush, I might even end up with a small truck in the short term, but I'd like to experience an Elise. The chances of selling it close by are rare, there are only 2 Lotus's in the whole of the Northern Rivers area, which is bigger than the UK. Don't worry Mark, I'll never own a glorified VW. rogerch 63
Well it's officially on the market. It's not going to sell overnight, so I still intend to go ahead with the new rear brake pads, new rear tyres, and I'm thinking about another couple of improvements which I will go ahead with. I'll just keep pretending I own it until I don't. Quote Life is like a sewer, what you get out of it, depends on what you put into it. (Tom Leahrer)
Roger 912 31
I hope I haven't scared you away from Lotus with all my conspiracy theories. I'll have to come up with one why you are "really" selling it.
Mike6 11
Roger, You will regret it so think again. It would be like selling a member of the family.
Simon350S 192
That's sad news Roger. If your feeling the itch for something different, new car wise, why not stick the wing back on it, you may love it all over again then Edited April 19, 2014 by Simon350S Quote Chunky Lover

Rick Edwards 20
The hardest decision to make.....its been a month or so since mine went and this is my first time back on here as it still hurts like hell. For me the economic necessity was what forced my hand but as with you it wont be my last Lotus. Quote Twitter @radioRedwards
