Lotus Esprit V8 GT (2001)

The Esprit V8 used Lotus’ self-developed all-aluminium, twin-turbocharged (Garrett T25/60 turbos) 90-degree V-8, Code-named Type 918, in front of the same Renault transmission as before with no Charge cooler. Derek Bell developed an uprated gearbox that overcame a lot of the gearbox problems with a much thicker single piece input shaft. There were only 204 Lotus Esprit V8 GT produced.
This 3 former keeper Lotus Esprit V8 GT, was registered as a 2001/51 (build number 192 of 204) with 57,600 miles, (averaging 4,400miles a year). There are a total of 14 service stamps in the book, 13 are from main dealers and 1 from a Lotus Specialists. The last Cam belt service was carried out on the 22/08/2012 at 54,461 miles, also on the 20/02/2014 the gearbox and engine mounts were changed. We have a very big file of bills, invoices, old MOTS, Certificate of Provenance, pictures and articles. Finished in Titanium with Black leather and black carpets.
