Well... I have a v. fast uncontrolled idle which I'll post about in the correct forum, but the big news is she runs! 

 

So that was engine out, cambelt done, fuel tanks done, new mounts all round and new hoses. 

 

Of course stories about esprits all have a but...

 

I managed to split the oil pressure send line when reinstalling and didn't notice, so a large quantity of oil was deposited on the floor.  Gents don't let your better halves throw old bathmats out, best oil spill soaker you'll find!

 

Now for the idle question!
