So smooth

Recommended Posts

Wow, isn't it all so comfortable and lovely. Having just taken delivery of an Evora S, I feel compelled to say how wonderful it is. Calvin loved rolling around the back as I accelerated away from roundabouts on a recent trip around Yorkshire, but he got used to it all in the end.

Classy tiger print rug huh.

@@@Jason:

The Evora is very suitable for dog Transport imho.  Our middle large mongrel streches out (as yours, very lovely) and normally enjoy the ride (much better than on the passenger seat or the passenger leg room in my 99 Merc SLK, also the ride is much smoother). For longer travels I like to put a dog harness on her, which is connected with the buckle of the rear seat belt.

I got some irratated views from pedestrians when 2 adults 1 child and one dog climbed out of The Evora...(they looked like "what else will come out of this....:-)

Must admit our dog isn't that excited about riding in the Lotus, she much prefers my wife's Mini.

The Evora is quite a bit louder and the sharp handling means she gets thrown around a bit more. Either that or its my driving

If you have the choice between a Stairway to Heaven and a Highway to Hell don't forget the Nomex®!

Yep I'm guessing that's your driving ;) The Evora *is* capable of pulling away gently and not hurtling round roundabouts on the edge of control. Apparently. Calvin wasn't having as much fun as me until his owner, my passenger, complained about his dog being splatted against each window and then held against the back seat with G forces bigger than he could achieve in his Corsa. Then the fun equation switched around and the dog was having a wonderful time doing 5mph around roundabouts.

Well the exhaust note has some Advantages:

My wife reported that our dog is hearing the Evora even when I am 2 Corners away !(Then she - Laika our dog - is going to the front door to say hello to me...:-)
