Wind deflector

Well finally got round to painting the wind deflector. Matt black. If it dont suit the car i wil do it the same colour as the body.

I was thinking about shelling out for my of these as Steve at SJS has started remanufacturing them. Let me know if it really helps with the wind noise!

I got myself a second-hand deflector which I also resprayed in matt black.   I found it worth having with regard to reducing wind noise and buffeting.  Roy.

Always wanted to get one - and that was 12 years ago. Managed to have survived without for that long so can't be all that bad. Still have all my hair and can still hear most things, apart from my wife talking. :-)

I was lucky. Found one on ebay with the bag. Looked like it had never been used. Made an offer .a quick hours drive And done. I believe it was silk red

Well sun out so roof off and went to thorsby car show. Tried the wind deflector and they work well, think i will leave it black

Just picked mine up from Machine7 here in Stockholm - soon my BRG Esprit too will have a wind deflector on it!

You may need to adjust the tabs. A hammer is the best tool. As there is no adjustment on the bolts. I turned the deflector upside down put the tabs on something solid and slighlty flattened them. Make sure there is no impact transfered to deflector itself.

and just as our weather turns to level where had to swap out the glass roof for the painted one. Hit 36 celsius yesterday here.. with the glass roof in the interior cooks if leave outside for even a little while!
