Turbo cooling water pipe routing

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am building a 1989 chargecooled turbo from boxes of bits.  I can't work out the cooling pipe routing from the parts manual.  The inlet to the turbo connects to a t piece with one end going to the head (but where?) and the other end to...? As far as I can see the outlet goes to the chargecooler head tank. Is that right?

help...

Thanks

Alan

The head has a spigot at the end by the turbo, it is just next to the intake runners.

There is a rubber hose to an alloy Tee, the small leg of the Tee has a rubber hose that connects to the hard copper pipe on the front side turbo water cooling port.  Then the other side of the Tee has a hose that goes to the chassis and returns through the heater core to the radiator.

The hose marked "To Heater" with an arrow pointed towards the front.
