Reversing Lights

Does the Evora have one or two reversing lights?  On mine onlt the passenger side one lights up?

 

I hadn't tealised until I let a mate drive the car last week and I was following.  It looks like they should both light up?

As you're UK based; just the one, the other is a fog light. Federal Evora's do without the fog light so have 2 reverse lights.

You would have thought it would be possible to have the fog lights as the outside ring of LED's and a reversing light in the centre and make the car symetrical

I had the same question too. Looks a bit odd but then I am always inside it when driving so I don't care!

I converted my lights on my old exiges to have all four light up. I wanted to try and sort the reversing/fog lights out on my evora so both had fog and reverse. Unfortunately as the they seem to be centre's from modular lights, so its an either/or senario with respect to commercially available off the shelf parts. Im sure it would be possible and in my opinion would look better but you would have to make something to suit.

It's quirky but minimal. Don't know why but I like that.

Over the last 5 years I have got tired of explaining to people as I reverse out of drives or whatever that no, I don't have a bulb out it is supposed to be like that.  Surprising how many people notice.  Sadly to date I don't think I've ever used the fog light in anger yet I could have done with more reversing wattage many times.

two reversing lights would be better for the reversing camera in the dark but uprating the number plate LEDs does help a fair bit

Good idea!  I still have some spare after doing the interior ones.  I'll have a play. Thanks.  Will save having to keep toe on brake as I've done at times as well.

Wouldn't it be a fairly simple matter to work out the circuit and modify it to turn both on for reversing, but also be able to switch them both on as fog lights.

 

Much like a two way light switch in your house?

I just noticed that mine has one light and was starting to panic because it's going in for its MOT in 1 hour
