What to do with oil pump on S1

Recommended Posts

I've just had the majority of my engine rebuilt but I'm unsure what to do with the oil pump. How can I check it and what are the options for overhauling it?

Thanks, Paul.

I recall that the max tolerances are specified in the manual (rotor tip to annulus to body)   I don't think a new annulus and rotor are that expensive in the grand scheme of things

If your oil pressure was OK before the rebuild, it'll be fine after....without doing anything to the oil pump....

Okay thanks.

No idea what the oil pressure was before as I've never run the engine.

Cheers, Paul.
