elite, eclat or excel wanted

dear all,

 

i´m after a well sorted Elite ...if not elite´s available it could be also an Eclat or early Excel (reg. date max 1985)

 

 

must have:

 

1. galvanized chassis

2. power steering

3. clean and tidy throughout

 

seats could be cloth, vinyl or leather...preference cloth

 

gearbox..no preferecne, automatic versions welcome

 

 

the car does not need to be original, sensible ugrades welcome.

 

 

good cash money is waiting.

This looks proper nice: an S1 but properly cared for condition:

I agree this car looks very oriignal. I know the fuzzy dash was an option but it is not something to my taste.

One omission on the photos is a picture of the front seats. Alarm bells ring. Leather can wear badly even at 56K.

Incidently, on the picture of the engine bay what is the red item up by the master cylinder, any idea?

Looks like asking prices for Elites are on the rise. I'm sure those prices would be not much more than half that a years ago.

I hope so. Elites have been under valued for some time.

ebay is great for them as in competition use they go out of date and need a recharge and certification.

 

do an ebay search for "lifeline" under car parts.

Thanks for the info. Demon Tweeks are just down the road from me. Their stuff is a little on the pricey side but worth a look.

Meanwhile I will do the Google search.
