would V8 tanks fit into a G car turbo?

While I know the fittings are all different, I am wondering if the V8 tanks would fit into the G series turbo car

 

I have a G series turbo that had an engine fire....and rather than part it out...I replaced it with a non lotus engine.  Since I have to run custom fuel lines anyways, I was wondering if the V8 tanks would physically fit.  Mine are very rusted and it seems that the V8 tanks pop up all the time.  So having different fittings would not be an issue, given that I have to make custom ones anyways

 

does anyone know how the dimensions on these tanks compare?

Not sure re sizes but the balance pipe I think is a ridged one rather than fuel line and some ( all??) only have one of the  tanks with a filler neck.

They will physically fit in the hole, yes. But as you suspect, brackets and other mountings will need to be fabricated or adapted along with suitable plumbing.

depends on market & model year..  S4/S4s V8 with two physically existent fuel-fillers exist, and the later ones with only one inlet port.

 

..same is for the tank-pressure sensor port in V8's  , as on 'US emission' market requirement this port is not filled with a blank, there is a sensor fitted. You can see all the different types listed in the parts list

I bought a v8 tank from one of the lotus shows for my s1 when the s1 tanks became obsolete. It needed lowering in height so I got about 10cm cut out of the middle and had it rewelded to fit.
