No joy on finding out what other car they were fitted to, which would have been the easiest solution, but I did have a message from Speedy Cables to say that they repair them. I'll have to send it off so they can have a butcher's at it, though.

I've just had the majority of my instruments out today, fitting a new temp gauge... Pretty much all are cracked, and the worst thing is I must have knocked a wire off wrestling the binnacle back on, now the temp rises serenely to maximum, was fine prior to binnacle fitting!

Aaaargh, I hate that bolt, so don't want to do it again......

Hey ho, assume the Lotus position......... :)

So you press the button to set the time?

I don't know what one looks like...I have an s4s though!

It looks like a round thing in the dash binnacle with a black face, and little white sticks, that rotate, oddly enough, in a clockwise direction. Hope that helps?

Hi, I suspect mine had a little plastic knob sticking out that when pushed in advanced the time, mine was missing when I bought the car so I've been using a bent paperclip carefully pushed in the hole to adjust it but alas mine is now running slow :-(
