Missing Engine Cup Plug

Dear All:

My first bit of troubling news-I discovered tonight that I am missing the cup plug located just behind the number two spark plug. Anyone else run into this sort of problem? Can it be addressed with a new cup plug, a drift, a deadblow mallet and a bucket full of blood, sweat and tears?

depends on access - but I usually just drift them in gently with a socket

Yes as Duncan said, depending on access, quite a simple job really. I use a smear of blue sealant on the cleaned up faces.

Dear All:

The more troubling bit is if the coolant (as in water) may have frozen at some point. Tomorrow I'll see if any of the exhaust side freeze plugs have taken a walk.
