Title says it all?

Anyone got a ROUGH idea?

Doesn't have to be precise - just a ball park, give or take 5-10kg say?

A fair bit, I can lift a UN1 off the floor and carry it around but it's heavy and it's hard edges make it somewhat painful to grip incorrectly.

Based on what else I've lifted ~45KG is my guess, possibly a few KG more.

Tricky to guess as all the weight is all in the gears/diff, in particular the secondary on the UN1 is by far the heaviest component.

Why dat then ?

Doing a deal on a gearbox!

Trying to get approximate shipping costs. Just ballpark stuff.

I was getting quotes for a rough guess at 50Kg...

So if you think around the same once some paletting etc is done then I can go with that

(Parcelforce cant go over 30kg or so! and the other place I got a quote from put it in the same bracket of "up to 80Kg" so that will deffo cover it... (that one was

For my birthday, my mrs bought me a new trolley jack (how did she know!!)

It weighs 40kg !!

I would agree with Jon, about 45-50kg

I can lift it off the floor, but not above waist height !!! and I'm only 5'7" dwarf !!!!

Parcel force just done my wheels - 72kg but divided up into 4 packages...strange they don't do anything heavier, you could try citylink or talk to Dave Walters, he sent me down a V8 rear deck which weighed a ton.

You really want to make sure no plonker smacks it or manages to crack the case, strapping it to a pallet is a good idea so it cant roll about, just makes it harder to lift.

So whats the spread ? 170mph ?

The UN1 is 165lbs (pretty sure) I can pick it up and carry it around, but always end up banging my knees on the bell housing. Weighs the same as me btw.

The Citroen box is lighter, but not sure how much

Thats 75KG in new money - blimey, nearly double what said, sure didn't feel that heavy.

I sometimes cart around gel cell batteries that must be about 30kg each at work, more than 2 of those...cripes.

Well as they say, dunno my own strength

With or without bellhousing? Renault or Citroen?

S4 ie Renault with bellhousing, LH alloy mounting bracket and rubber mount attached too.
