TBD
Well, I'm kind of glad Lotus hasn't listened so much to Frank. Vulcan Grey
Interesting choice! I thought you liked the canyons and not the race track!? The 2-Eleven being track only in the USA and all... ronin
Bingo..... but not your average 211, something with a little more flair.. ronin
Who's Mr. Olsson and tell me what the spring rates are on the 2012 R8 GT because they are too soft for the canyons and a $220K car shouldn't need mods from a mental case but it does..Never mind I found him http://unofficialnetworks.com/jon-olsson-audi-r8-89819/ Yeah a fool with more money than brains.... red vtec
Jon Olsson is a top freeskier, he is (I think 31) lives in Monaco, has a tasty Girlfriend, is very rich and is a car nut. He owns YNIQ goggles and Douchebag ski bags. That car is specialy built for him it has a full 600gram heavy weave carbon fibre body work, has all glass replaced with lightweight racing-grade Makrolon glass, is retrimmed in alcantara, has a Ski box with power for the boot warmers, which is also fitted to allow high speed use.. The interior is completely bespoke. It uses black Alcantara with contrasting red stitching and carbon fiber to create a comfortable space. Jon’s sports logo was also incorporated onto the seats and carbon fiber threshold plates. Other tailored parts include the steering wheel, the lightweight racing seats and an aluminum plaque designating the car. The seats alone save 36.8kg of weight! The PPI Razor GTR normally features a naturally aspirated V10 engine with over 601hp produced at 7,400rpm, torque is 565Nm at 6,400rpm. The 250kg weight savings usually allow it to achieve 0 to 100km/h (62mph) times of just 3.2 seconds (with a modified R-tronic Gearbox) and a maximum top speed of 335km/h. However, Jon has shipped the car to Stasis for power upgrades boosting that to 710hp As I say this is his winter car, and is used by him for ski resort journeys, (hence 4wd). His other car runs something like 1000bhp and is based on an ultima. I'm sure if you contact the builders they can give you the spring rates. Just noticed your comment about him being a fool, better then being bitter, hey Frank? Oh by the way it has a reinforced chin spoiler and hydraulic lifters not such a fool is he... Vulcan Grey
no that was an S2 Elise that somebody turned into a 2-Eleven. ronin
I said it's nice but I wouldn't do that with mine.... having to buy chains for my lowered Esprit after getting caught in a storm taught me that lesson....You do get a little wiser with age I've been told... Before the quattro this was the ski machine.....back then the speedo only went up to 85 but the neddle would sweep past and get pegged at mph when crusin through the desert... The van made it up that hill from the hwy below with ease with 500 hp but it was a spooky ride goin down since the shale was so loose you couldn't apply the brakes without sliding. This is lookin better... Edited April 29, 2012 by ronin Quote I think it's fast enough…maybe

ronin
The problem with the mono ski when skied properly is that it looked so cool that people thought it was too hard without even tryin it ... Back then if you looked good skiing on twins it took practice and time... Even though the mono was easy the fact that you looked good people thought it had to be hard....freakin idiots.. The young skiers took to the sno-board just to be different even though it sucked in the bumps and without the use of poles you screwed up your wrists on hard pack.... But the kids were into skateboarding and there ya go.... I never met a snowboarder that could do a bump run at speed while the mono-ski would shred the bumps and after I dialed in the torshonial stiffness it worked great on hard pack and ice... The secret to the ski was to hold your knees together while driving into each turn....The stupid French mono-skiers always sat back on their tails and screwed up the whole style when it was shown in any of the ski films... Dam kids on their sno-boards and the French mono-skiers. I started with Bahne and Mike Doyle in 76 with their first powder mono and got it workin on the east coast hardpack before I moved out west.....Oh yeah I got into it after my first knee surgery.. It was so much better for your knees.. I use to get some of my skateboard decks from Bahne back in the day... This is a 24" Bahne skateboard..
