installing the heater into an eclat S1

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Has anyone on here replaced the heater unit on an elite or eclat - I've fitted the bolts through the bulkhead but the two that go in from above under the metal panel are eluding me.

If anyone has some advice on a procedure for this please let me know. Took two of us about 2 hours to get that far!

Any help or suggestions appreciated......

Cheers, Mat.

To bump this to the top again, I remember some talk on a thread which I cannot find, alluding to someone fitting an mx5 heater? From memory this needed heavy duty cabling for the more powerful motor? The reason for the question is that this unit is cable operated not from fixed levers and gives more flexibility on where it is mounted in the dash panel.
