Rear brake discs and pads for 97 GT3... same as various other models?

Recommended Posts

I'm sure its already covered on the forums somewhere but can anyone tell me what the rear discs and pads on a 97 GT3 are from please?

Its the earlier brakes.... i.e. not the ones (Delco I think?) that were fitted on the final GT3's

Looks as if they might be the same as an early Elise as well?

Thanks

I have never seen a match for the rear discs but the pads are the same shape as the Elise rears. The rear caliper is the same but they have a different Lotus part number due to the different pads used. The Esprit pad is 15 mm thick but the Elise pad is 12 mm thick.

I'm sure EBC no longer make rear discs for the Esprit, they were not available when I ordered some from SJ's some years back. I ended up getting a brand new V8 set from eBay someone was selling, half the price if purchased from Lotus. I have green stuff pads.

Thanks folks, got this sorted now.

Got discs and pads from PNM.

By the way, the retaining spring / pin which is not part of the pad kit is from a Laguna
